Static Control’s Elizabeth McKee.
The company has promoted Elizabeth McKee to the position of General Counsel, replacing industry veteran Skip London.
Effective as of April 1, McKee takes over the role from London, who will stay with Static Control in the role of Executive Vice President, remaining actively involved with day-to-day operations.
“I’m excited to represent Static Control as General Counsel at such a pivotal time in the company’s history,” said McKee. “I look forward to continuing to fight for the aftermarket and working with the executive leadership on continuing to strengthen Static Control’s position as an industry leader.”
McKee has been with Static Control for more than 10 years, and has played an integral role in Static Control’s landmark Lexmark and Canon cases. In addition, she has shared her passion for the law, teaching as an adjunct professor at American Public University Systems and Fayetteville Technical Community College.
With a Juris Doctor law degree from Syracuse University, McKee sits on the Council of the North Carolina Bar Association Corporate Counsel, also serving as the co-chair for the Corporate Counsel’s legislative committee. Furthermore, she is licensed to practice law in North Carolina and Georgia.
“Beth has been instrumental in all of our key legal cases through the years,” declared her predecessor, Skip London. “I’m completely confident she will carry the torch in defending the aftermarket with the same tenacity that I’ve had in my years with Static Control.”
