GMTs reveal public tender success

GM Technology has announced that it has won more than 55 percent of the public administration contracts it has bid on.

Throughout last year, the company bid for more than 70 public tenders, offering its multi-brand printing equipment, consumables and services to a variety of different public agencies and institutions across Spain.

GMT has now announced that it won comfortably over half of those tenders, “mainly due to the characteristics of our multifunctional equipment, digital and management solutions, or the optimisation of printing services,” the company said, adding that these evaluation criteria “allowed us to obtain the highest scores in the offers and be the winners of more than 55 percent of the calls submitted.”

Furthermore, the forecast for 2019 is set to either equal or exceed 2018’s total successes, according to first quarter estimates.

Discussing its success, the company paid tribute to its “highly qualified managers” and its team of “specialists in public contracting,” which it said performs “impeccable work.”

“The high responsibility of teamwork characterises our professionals, who support and guarantee the success of all contracts won,” said the Spanish company. “In addition, as an accredited company in the Official Register of Bidders and classified companies of the State, all our documents are certified before the public procurement bodies; and our technical and financial solvency endorsed by all our customers.”

“The commitment of our company to the Public Administration has made it possible for us to celebrate our growth in the number of contracts with public bodies and in the number of experts dedicated to this matter,” GMT added.

The company, which is headquartered in Seville with branches in Madrid and Barcelona, has a workforce of over 120 professionals, and an international network of more than 200 distributors.

Among the public bodies now employing the services of GMT are the Ajuntament de Barcelona (Barcelona City Hall), the Ayuntamiento de Sevilla (Seville City Hall), and the Gobierno de Cantabria (Cantabrian government), as well as Grupo Tragsa, Renfe, and RTVE.
