The company has introduced ‘Staples Studio’, an in-store co-working space designed for small businesses.
Staples announced the launch of Staples Studio, a fresh take on co-working for small businesses, entrepreneurs and commuters, now open in three Massachusetts Staples retail locations: Brighton, Danvers and Norwood.
Staples Studio was established to foster an environment where businesses can focus on creating, collaborating and connecting in shared workspaces and private or shared offices. The workspaces come with access to unlimited coffee, tea and meeting room use. Staples Studio is conveniently located inside Staples retail stores to give members access to everything they may need, all in one convenient location.
“Staples has evolved alongside our customer from a place intended for simply purchasing supplies to an environment designed to help small businesses flourish through community and solutions,” said Mike Motz, Chief Executive Officer, Staples US Retail. “Many of our customers are small business owners, side-gig enthusiasts or have jobs that keep them mobile. We have thoughtfully designed Staples Studio to be an ecosystem of resources for businesses in a connected environment that will allow our coworking members to focus on what they do best.”
Right now, when members sign up for three months by 31 July 2019, they’ll receive an additional three months of membership for free. Plus, members receive ten percent off all in-store purchases for 12 months. Open houses will be held at all three of the current Staples Studio locations where prospective members can enjoy refreshments, raffles, tours of the space and networking opportunities. The launch of Staples Studio follows the introduction of Pro Services in Staples’ flagship Brighton store, a resource centre designed to equip small businesses with the on-site guidance and expertise needed to tackle business challenges at every phase of growth.
