Epson launched a new A4 Replaceable Ink Pack System (RIPS), the WorkForce Pro WF-C569R business inkjet printer.

Epson announced the new WorkForce Pro WF-C579R business printer, a high-yield colour A4 inkjet printer and one of the most compact network printers.

Adding on to Epson’s line-up of Replaceable Ink Pack System (RIPS) printers, the WF-C579R comes with high-capacity ink packs that yields up to 50,000 pages in black or up to 20,000 pages in colour before packs need to be changed.

The printers are designed to provide significantly greater paper capacity in a smaller footprint, supporting a maximum of up to 1,330 pages when equipped with the optional 500-page paper cassette tray, Epson explained.

Powered by Epson’s PrecisionCore technology, the printer prints at fast speeds of up to 24ipm and has a first page-out time of just 5.3 seconds in colour with no warm up time. Productivity is enhanced with a maximum monthly duty cycle of 50,000 pages. As the printers do not use heat to operate, power consumption is greatly reduced.

The WF-C579R printer is suited for business with its DURABrite Ultra pigment ink, which delivers laser-like quality prints that are water-resistant, fade-resistant and smudge-resistant, Epson added.

The WF-C579R printer can also work with Epson Device Admin, Epson’s fleet management software, and Epson Print Admin, Epson’s print management software.

“Our WorkForce Pro printers with Replaceable Ink Pack Systems helps businesses save on running costs and reduce downtime with our high-capacity ink and paper options in a space-saving design. The printers are designed to help businesses enhance productivity and streamline workflows with its print management tool that enhances output security and enables busy workgroups to protect their office printing environments,” said Eduardo Bonoan, General Manager – Marketing for Epson Philippines.
