Canon requested removal of toner cartridges offered by INKPLUS, BESTINK and NEWYORKTONER from Amazon.com.
Canon Inc. announced the filing of an infringement report with Amazon.com seeking removal of Amazon.com listings for certain toner cartridges sold by INKPLUS for use in HP laser beam printers.
Canon’s infringement report alleged that certain model HP 126A toner cartridges sold by INKPLUS via Amazon.com infringed Canon’s U.S. Patent No. 8,688,008. Canon requested that Amazon remove INKPLUS’ listings for those products, namely, INKPLUS’ listings with Amazon Standard Identification Numbers (“ASINs”) B07H18GVVZ, B07H18SLHQ, B07GZDBBGG, B07H19DG5H, B07GZGNDPJ and B07GZD5KHP.
Canon also announced the filing of an infringement report with Amazon.com seeking removal of Amazon.com listings for certain toner cartridges sold by BESTINK for use in HP laser beam printers.
Canon’s infringement report alleged that certain model HP 126A toner cartridges sold by BESTINK via Amazon.com infringed Canon’s U.S. Patent No. 8,688,008. Canon requested that Amazon remove BESTINK’s listings for those products, namely, the BESTINK listing with Amazon Standard Identification Number (“ASIN”) B01M0I5UF1.
Furthermore, Canon announced the filing of an infringement report with Amazon.com seeking removal of Amazon.com listings for certain toner cartridges sold by NEWYORKTONER for use in HP laser beam printers.
Canon’s infringement report alleged that certain model HP 126A toner cartridges sold by NEWYORKTONER via Amazon.com infringed Canon’s U.S. Patent No. 8,688,008. Canon requested that Amazon remove NEWYORKTONER’s listings for those products, namely, the NEWYORKTONER listing with Amazon Standard Identification Number (“ASIN”) B00561O5KE.
At the time of this announcement, the above-identified listings were no longer available on Amazon.com.
