The OEM has launched four new Expression printers, two Expression Home printers and two Expression Photo printers.

Epson’s latest Expression Home printers (XP-3100 and XP-4100 series) bring together 3-in-1 functionality and mobile printing, with the new addition of A4 double-sided printing and a compact and stylish design. These models are available from September 2019.

Alice Ramsden De Gómez, Product Manager, said: “With these latest printers consumers can get an affordable, stylish printer with mobile printing, that has the added benefit of A4 double-sided printing. This feature could help them to reduce the amount of paper they consume by half. Plus, as is standard with our cartridge printers, these models use individual inks, so only the colour used needs to be replaced.”

These 3-in-1 Expression Home printers feature a new streamlined aesthetic. Ideal for consumers looking for stylish technology, the compact footprint is engineered to take up less space, while sleek buttons add to its contemporary and understated look.

These printers offer Wi-Fi printing and mobile printing apps. Users can simply download the free Epson iPrint app to print and scan wirelessly from smart devices. Additionally, it is easy to navigate the printer’s functions directly via the LCD screen. The XP-3100 series has a 3.7 cm screen, while the XP-4100 series is larger at 6.1 cm.

Epson also launched all-in-one Expression Photo printers with 6-colour inks at up to A4 (XP-8600 series) and A3 (XP-970). These models are also available from September 2019.

Epson said that the XP-8600 series and XP-970 provide a great solution for ambitious photography enthusiasts looking for an all-in-one printer that can print superior photos. Both models offer mobile printing and feature a space-saving and stylish design to complement the home.

The 6-colour Claria Photo HD inks are capable of printing long-lasting and professional-looking, glossy photos that can last for up to 300 years in a photo album. Printing photos directly from a memory card is easy using the large 10.9 cm touchscreen. The user can print onto suitable CDs and DVDs and a range of media including thicker photography papers (XP-970 offers up to A3) using the rear specialty media feed.

These all-in-ones feature Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Direct and work with Epson’s free apps, which make it easy to print photos and documents directly from smartphones and tablets.

The XP-8600 series and XP-970 offer features including A4 auto double-sided printing, motorised output tray and auto power on for convenience.

Alice Ramsden de Gomez, Product Manager, Epson UK, said: “Photography enthusiasts want the flexibility to print photos at home that match the quality of their DSLR camera. The XP-970 and XP-8600 series provide a fantastic solution as the 6-colour inks deliver superior, long-lasting photos. As all-in-ones with a modern user interface, they’re also great for the whole family with our free mobile printing apps making it simple to print directly from smart devices.”
