Canon Inc. requested the removal of toner cartridges offered by Quicktoner and ZUZG STORE from Amazon.com and by Inkolution from Amazon.ca.
The OEM filed an infringement report with Amazon.com seeking removal of Amazon.com listings for certain toner cartridges sold by Quicktoner for use in HP laser beam printers.
Canon’s infringement report alleged that certain model HP 126A toner cartridges sold by Quicktoner via Amazon.com infringed Canon’s U.S. Patent No. 8,688,008. At the time of this announcement, the above-identified Quicktoner and ZUZG STORE listings were no longer available on Amazon.com.
Amazon.ca also received an infringement report from Canon, seeking removal of a listing for certain toner cartridges sold by Inkolution.
Canon’s infringement report alleged that certain model CB540A, CB541A, CB542A and CB543A toner cartridges sold by Inkolution via Amazon.ca infringed Canon’s Canadian Patent no. 2,635,791. Canon requested the removal of the corresponding listings for these products, namely Amazon Standard Identification Numbers B07J1VYFW5, B07J1QNMNN, B07J1TLP4C and B07J1W6JGH.
At the time of this announcement, products sold under the above-identified listings were no longer available on Amazon.ca.
