The European office equipment supplier announced the appointment, effective from the 1st of July this year.
Roland Laschet will become Managing Director of ADVEO Benelux (Belgium, The Netherlands, and Luxembourg), where he be instrumental in the design and implementation of the company’s Strategic Plan 2017-2020 in the region. He will also become a member of the Management Committee, according to The Office Times.
With more than fifteen years’ experience in the sector, Laschet previously served as Commercial Director Benelux for SSI Schäfer Shop GmbH, as well as holding a variety of mamangement roles at Staples since 2002, including Managing Director, Retail & Online Benelux; Managing Director, Office Centre Belgium; and General Manager, Office Centre.
As well as these positions, Laschet was EXEL Logistics’ Business Development Manager, Retail, and Managing Director at supermarket chain ALDI.
ADVEO recently announced the closure of its Winkelhaid warehouse in Germany, as part of its ongoing Strategic Plan 2017-2020.
