The Recycler has discovered that the UK’s Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) has joined forces with Amazon and is promoting the online retailer’s Amazon for Business services to its members.

Founded over 40 years ago, the Federation of Small Businesses is a business organisation which describes itself as “a non-profit making and non-party political organisation that’s led by our members, for our members.”

The FSB cites one of its main goals as to “be recognised as the most influential and trusted business organisation” and to be “fully representative of the whole UK smaller business community.”

The organisation provides a range of services to small businesses, among them advice, support and financial expertise.

Now, it has been revealed that the FSB has linked up with online retailer, Amazon, and is promoting the global corporation’s Amazon for Business services to its members, a move which could court controversy among those who question the FSB’s motives.
