The Chinese company’s latest release is a set of replacement chips for use in cartridges compatible with the Canon 054 series.

According to Apex, the replacement chips feature an SoC design, offering “consistent performance” while also being “easy to install in recycled cartridges.”

With a yield of either 1,500 pages in black or 1,200 in CMY, the replacement chips are for use with cartridges compatible with Canon’s Colour imageCLASS MF642Cdw, which was released in March of this year. High yield variations, offering a page yield of 3,100 pages in black or 2,300 in CMY, are said to be “coming soon!”

Apex states that the above printer is “designed for small and medium-size businesses,” and offers “feature rich capabilities with high quality and minimal maintenance,” allowing the user to “accomplish necessary tasks with just one machine.”

Last month, the company released a previous slate of replacement chips, including a set for use in cartridges compatible with the Lenovo CS2410DN, as well as a set for use in cartridges compatible with various Toshiba printer models.
