Armor 3D unveils OWA speaker

by | Jan 24, 2018 | 0 comments

An off-shoot of Nantes-based Armor, Armor 3D is one of 28 start-ups selected by Business France to showcase their products on the US innovation market and has now unveiled its OWA speaker.

This Bluetooth speaker is the result of a collaboration between Armor 3D, TechShop Leroy Merlin and design agency Bold. The luminous OWA speaker is housed inside a dome that can be personalised using 3D printing, and is created using recycled and recyclable 3D filaments marketed by Armor under the OWA brand. It has been designed to combat in-built obsolescence.

With these filaments, we are seeking to explore the full range of 3D printing possibilities in order to build the industry of the future against a background of complete respect for the environment, explained Hubert de Boisredon.
