ARMOR acquires the Freecolor brand?

Following Clover’s exit from the European market, ARMOR Print Solutions has acquired the Freecolor brand as part of its investment in Europe Kantoor Business Magazine (KBMreports.

ARMOR Print Solutions using its 100th Anniversary messages, said it saw this as an opportunity and has been announcing investments in R&D, production and people.

The Freecolor brand has been established in the imaging supplies business for almost 20 years and originated from the German remanufacturer K+U Printware GmbH that Clover acquired in 2012. In 2013 Clover Germany GmbH was formed from the amalgamation of K+U Printware GmbH and TRS AG and the acquisition of Dematec in 2014 and was one of Clover Imaging brands sold mainly in the DACH (D – Germany, A – Austria, CH – Switzerland) region.

The Freecolor brand has been well established in the imaging supplies business for almost 20 years. It is a successful brand in Europe, particularly in the DACH region. The extensive range of Freecolor-branded imaging supplies offers solutions for practically every printer.

Clover Imaging recently announced it was exiting the European market by June 2022. It had been running down its European stock holding in Porto and Serbia.
