Blue Planet launches two new self-erasing inkjet inks

Blue Planet Ink has launched Paper Saver 101 and 102 disappearing inks for Epson printers.

Responding to customer requests from the United Kingdom and Europe, Blue Planet Ink has launched two new self-erasing inkjet inks. The new inks are for use in Epson EcoTank printers that use ink number 101 or 102.

Previously UK and EU customers bought printers intended for the North America region in order to reuse their printer paper. Now they can use local printer models.

Paper Saver ink is a purple coloured ink that prints on normal paper. With exposure to air the ink absorbs carbon dioxide and water vapor and undergoes a chemical reaction which lowers its pH. As the pH drops the dye in the ink becomes colourless and the paper becomes blank again, like new.

“Paper waste is a global issue and our British and European customers have taken the lead in establishing the paper-reuse movement. We hope to continue to develop more inks to support them as much as possible.” said Carl Yee, President of Blue Planet Ink.
