Brother introduces 100% recyclable products

On the Dutch IT Channel website Printer OEM Brother talks about how they are stimulating the circular economy by marketing 100 percent recyclable products.

The Dutch IT Channel outlines how customers can participate in a better living environment through various initiatives, including the protection of the rainforest in Peru and Papua New Guinea.

In the article Brother outlines the programmes to recycle used toners, ink cartridges and devices for free. For every toner that is sent for reuse, Brother supports the non-profit organisation Cool Earth in protecting the rainforest.

Brother confirms that all Brother cartridges are 100 percent recyclable and all the parts of Brother equipment can also be reused. In the Netherlands environmentally friendly processing of discarded Brother printers can be handed in at one of the 10,000 collection points connected to WeCycle at municipalities and stores.

In the article Isao Noji, Managing Director, Brother International Europe, said: “At Brother, we are particularly proud of our many years of collaboration with Cool Earth. Our employees and customers continue to protect the vital rainforest and its communities in Peru and Papua New Guinea. Numerous initiatives have been set up for this, including a biennial quiz to raise funds and recycling programmes for toners.”
