Brother UK has won PC Pro’s Best Printer Manufacturer of the year accolade for the seventh year in a row, achieving an all-time high score in the process.

Brother secured a total of 88 per cent – one of the highest marks the judges have awarded a printer brand – scoring higher than second-place rival Epson across the board, including a six per cent margin in the value-for-money category.

The annual awards are judged on the results of a comprehensive three-month survey of PC Pro readers to rate products and services released over the past 12 months on a range of criteria, from quality to reliability.

Brother achieved a print quality score of 92 per cent, up two points on the previous two years. The company also performed well in the categories for reliability (93 per cent), speed (86 per cent) and customer support (73 per cent).

Sara Diggle, head of SMB laser & scanner business unit at Brother UK, said: “In such turbulent times, companies and remote workers have never been so reliant on high-quality technology to boost productivity, ensure business continuity and support firms in adapting to new ways of working.
