The OEM announced new imageRUNNER ADVANCE and Colour imageCLASS models.

Canon U.S.A., Inc. announced the addition of the new imageRUNNER ADVANCE C475iF III Series and new Colour imageCLASS MF746Cdw and LBP664Cdw models to its colour A4 product portfolio. The expansion of the colour A4 portfolio presents to customers and channel partners a complete, cohesive line-up to complement the Company’s strong A3 portfolio, according to Canon.

“The evolution of our diverse A4 product portfolio reflects our strong dedication to deliver a cohesive fleet implementation for the offices of the future,” says Shinichi Yoshida, executive vice president and general manager, Canon U.S.A. Inc. “As market demand for the A4 segment increases, these models will broaden the available product selection so that customers may choose ones that best suit their specific needs and applications, while also benefiting from working with fleets comprised of products that share a number of common characteristics.”

Canon explains: “The new imageRUNNER ADVANCE C475iF III series provides a great solution for small businesses or workgroups within large fleet environments that require colour printing, copying and scanning on letter- and legal-sized paper.”

The series consists of the imageRUNNER ADVANCE C475iF III (up to 50 pages per minute) and the imageRUNNER ADVANCE C475iFZ III (up to 50 pages per minute), which includes an internal staple finisher.

These models incorporate Canon’s MEAP platform and build on the success of the third generation imageRUNNER ADVANCE third-edition platform, featuring Unified Firmware Platform version 3.8.

With various security features integrated at the design level, the third-edition models can help users limit unauthorized access to organizational assets, while maintaining their reliability and workflow efficiency. Both models come standard with a single-pass duplexing automatic document feeder for impressive scanning speeds of up to 100ipm (duplex, 300dpi).

In addition, the new Colour imageCLASS MF746Cdw multifunction printer and Colour imageCLASS LBP664Cdw single function printer both offer high-quality imaging, minimal maintenance, efficient print speeds of up to 28 ppm in both colour and black-and-white, and a five-inch colour touchscreen made to deliver an intuitive user experience, Canon added.

The new imageRUNNER ADVANCE series and imageCLASS models support Canon’s diverse solutions portfolio, including uniFLOW, uniFLOW Online and standard uniFLOW Online Express.
