The OEM announced it has requested removal of toner cartridge offered by TRIPLE BEST, Qwen and Cool-e from Amazon.com.
In its latest press releases, Canon announced the filing of an infringement report with Amazon.com seeking removal of Amazon.com listings for certain toner cartridges sold by TRIPLE BEST for use in HP laser beam printers.
Canon’s infringement report alleged that certain model HP 126A toner cartridges sold by TRIPLE BEST via Amazon.com infringed Canon’s U.S. Patent No. 8,688,008. Canon requested that Amazon remove TRIPLE BEST listings for those products, namely, TRIPLE BEST listings with the Amazon Standard Identification Number (“ASIN”) B078JCRWFN.
San Diego-based Triple Best is also a respondent in the recently launched USITC 337 Investigation by Brother.
The OEM also announced the filing of an infringement report with Amazon.com seeking removal of Amazon.com listings for certain toner cartridges sold by Qwen for use in HP laser beam printers.
Canon’s infringement report alleged that certain model HP 126A toner cartridges sold by Qwen via Amazon.com infringed Canon’s U.S. Patent No. 8,688,008. Canon requested that Amazon remove Qwen listings for those products, namely, Qwen listings with Amazon Standard Identification Numbers (“ASINs”) B0722XVF1N, B0794YS54N, B07CWNNXFN, B07CWP3Y9R and B07CWPGQJ5.
This is not the first time for Qwen. In September, Canon reported the filing of an infringement report with Amazon.ca seeking removal of an Amazon.ca listing for certain toner cartridges sold by Qwen.
Canon’s infringement report alleged that certain model CB540A, CB541A, CB542A and CB543A toner cartridges sold by Qwen via Amazon.ca infringed Canon’s Canadian Patent no. 2,635,791. Canon requested the removal of the corresponding listings for these products, namely Amazon Standard Identification Number B071F3BBT5.
Also announced was the filing of an infringement report with Amazon.com seeking removal of Amazon.com listings for certain toner cartridges sold by Cool-e for use in HP laser beam printers.

Canon requested that Amazon remove Cool-e listings for those products, namely, Cool-e listings with Amazon Standard Identification Numbers (“ASINs”) B079K8KWMN and B079JWGH93.
At the time of these announcements, the above-identified listings were no longer available on Amazon.com.
