The company is celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2022 and has been taking a look back over the time it has been operating.
In 2007, Chipjet debuted with its first compatible cartridge chip in the print consumable market.
In an announcement the company made on 23 may, Chipjet is looking back on the past and its milestones achieved. In 2010, the company achieved cooperation agreements with some of the largest remanufacturing companies in Japan and Europe, which enabled it to enter the international market.
Later, in 2014, the sales volume exceeded ¥100 million ($15 million/ €14 million) for the first time and annual production exceeded 90 million. In 2015, Chipjet moved its office to Hangzhou National Hi-tech Development Zone and in 2018, the office area expanded to 6,000 square metres.
Chipjet said celebrating the last 15 years: “Over the past 15 years, Chipjet has applied nearly 600 intellectual property rights, over 400 of which are authorized, and has been awarded various prizes and titles such as National Hi-tech Enterprise, Zhejiang Provincial R&D Centre, Provincial Enterprise Academy, Hangzhou Patent Demonstration Enterprise, etc.
“To celebrate this anniversary, we had our first live-broadcasting activity, in which attendees could vie for coupons and win gifts through Q&A games. Our manager also took part in this activity, cutting the cake to wish our company happy birthday.
“In the future, we will continue to upgrade our technology and service, and provide more high-quality products to our partners.”
