The company has published its latest sustainability report for 2017 online, revealing a number of “significant achievements.”
Explaining that sustainability “is integrated into the very fabric of Clover”, Clover Imaging Group has released its annual sustainability report, detailing its achievements for the previous year and reiterating the company’s ongoing commitment to “strengthening our environmental objects, improving our environmental footprint, and empowering our employees to make a difference.”
Some of CIG’s key achievements for 2017 include:
- The collection of over 40 million units
- The recycling of over 2 million lbs of material
- The planting of 153,513 new trees since partnering with PrintReleaf
- ISO 14001, R2 and WasteWise environmentally certified facilities
- The achievement of a 15.9 percent reduction in packaging per shipment
Following on from its positive performance in 2016, the company’s 2017 report reveals Clover’s sustainable practices in more detail, explaining that last year Clover “began a new initiative to lower the number of boxes shipped by employing smarter packaging and increased cube utilisation.”
In addition, the company “continued to drive transit business to energy efficient rail shipments”, continued the enhancement of its distribution network, and filed 12 new patent applications which “illustrate Clover’s ongoing commitment to offer innovative high-quality products while reducing waste”, according to the remanufacturer.
