Print-Rite Europe has revealed that its CoLiDo 3D printing technology was a star attraction at the “Get Up To Speed with Stem” careers event.

Held at the Magna Science Adventure Centre in Rotherham, this careers event for young people featured Print-Rite’s CoLiDo 3D printer and latest 3D pens as “star attractions” of the STEAM Works stand. Here, pupils and their teachers could gather to learn more about the MakerEd Project, which utilises CoLiDo printers in primary schools to allow children the chance to “engage with new and emerging technologies” and “prepare for the Digital Age.”

This is the 8th edition of the careers event, the aim of which is to “highlight the range of career opportunities in science, technology, engineering and manufacturing.”

Print-Rite’s 3d printing technology has already received favourable news coverage this week, with the company announcing that it had taken the Gold award at the International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva.
