In the 80s and 90s, the age of typewriters, DCI’s products were a household name. However, with the dawn of the digital era, the company pivoted gracefully, capitalising on the ink and toner market. Now headquartered in Boston, UK, DCI not only produces but also promotes the recycling of cartridges through its collection arm, The Recycling Factory. This globally-spanning initiative has not only reduced waste but also generated a staggering donation of over £4 million ($4.9 million/ €4.62 million) for charity partners.
Jet Tec, DCI’s flagship brand, stands out with its iconic British red bus packaging—a nod to the company’s roots. The range under Jet Tec caters to a broad spectrum of brands including HP, Canon, Brother, Epson, and Samsung. This commitment to versatility has ensured that consumers around the world find compatible, eco-friendly solutions for their printers.
In a landmark move in 2016, DCI, under a license agreement covering Europe, the Middle East, USA, and Canada, launched a line of remanufactured ink and toner cartridges for the renowned KODAK brand. This partnership further solidified DCI’s reputation as a global leader in its field.
