The Denner Group has acquired Environmental Business Products Ltd. a London-based remanufacturer of printer cartridges. The acquisition transforms the Denner Group into a major international player delivering 360-degree recycling of printer cartridges across Europe.

Austria-based The Denner Group has acquired the specialist printer cartridge remanufacturer; UK-based Environmental Business Products Ltd. (EBP) for an undisclosed purchase price. The acquisition fits with the Denner Groups expansion plans to provide 360-degree recycling of printer cartridges across Europe.

CEO Gottfried Denner Jr. declared: This is “a very significant and important step for the Denner Group, as we can now offer and implement our 360 Degree Recycling across the entire European market.” Adding: “this great step with the experience of an internationally established company such as EBP. Our ambitious goal is to grow further to become the market leader in Europe. I would like to thank my entire team that contributed to the realisation of this milestone.”

The 360 degree closed-loop recycling process – from the collection and remanufacturing through to the complete recycling of the materials from cartridges that can no longer be used – is covered by the company.

The acquisition of EBP brings with it the company’s 80 staff and subsidiaries across the UK and Europe. Patrick Stead, the former CEO and founder of EBP, will remain involved in a consultancy capacity to help further develop the company’s strategy alongside Gottfried Denner Snr. The Denner Group’s ambitious goal is to become the market leader in Europe with their closed-loop recycling process.

Both companies are excited about the acquisition and are looking forward to combining their strengths to promote the international reach of the group.
