ECI Software Solutions announced that its Deacom Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution for process manufacturers and distributors has successfully completed the?Technology Evaluation Centres?(TEC) Certification programme for the fourth time.

Prospective users can compare and evaluate Deacom’s functionality against certified competitors in the ERP for Process Manufacturing Evaluation Centre. The analysis conducted by TEC found that Deacom ERP is best suited for process manufacturing and distribution companies with revenues ranging from $50 million (€49.98 million) to $1 billion (€999 million) and can scale to accommodate the needs of larger enterprises.

The TEC Certification Report found that Deacom ERP is dominant in five of the seven most common modules for ERP for process manufacturing solutions, including Process Manufacturing Management, Product Technology, and Quality Management.

“In the year since Deacom became part of the ECI family, we’ve been hard at work to make sure the product continues to meet the needs of modern businesses,” said Matt Heerey, President of ECI’s manufacturing division. “Validation from a respected organisation like TEC gives our customers an easy way to compare us against other ERPs in the market, and confidence in their decision.”

As the leading impartial advisory firm, TEC helps businesses select the best-fit software solution for their needs by comparing top solutions in more than 40 enterprise software categories. TEC Certification Reports provide detailed analysis of leading software solutions that have successfully completed TEC’s Certification Programme.

In his report, TEC Principal Analyst PJ Jakovljevic found a complete, robust solution in Deacom ERP. “The Deacom ERP solution punches above its weight and goes head-to-head with the biggest names in the ERP space. Deacom’s ERP system is packed with features and functions that make it a complete solution that is purpose-built for manufacturers and distributors in the process manufacturing industries. The single, integrated solution is built on a modern architecture stack, which enables it to take advantage of the latest tools and technologies sweeping the industry,” wrote Jakovljevic.
