Effective Consumable Solutions (ECS) announced that they have won an award at two separate awards ceremonies on the same night at both the PrintIT Awards 2022 and MRW’s National Recycling Awards 2022.
Having won PrintIT’s End of Service Manufacturer of the Year Award in 2021, ECS struck again, winning the award for the second year in a row. The award itself was open to all providers of OEM-alternative remanufactured, own brand or compatible ink and toner cartridges for the UK market, with solutions being engineered to match OEM-original supplies and offer end-users a high quality, cost-effective alternative.
Upon receiving the award ECS Director, Chris Fink, said: “We’re absolutely delighted to be taking this award home for the second year in a row. We were confident heading into the evening knowing that our solution has met the criteria of the award previously in terms of our breadth of product offering, product and service quality, and our entire range of products’ ability to match OEM toners in all facets. We’re always looking to improve in each of these areas and strive to provide the best remanufactured toners available on the market.”
ECS’s success did not end there, as they also sent a team to MRW’s National Recycler Awards, where the company’s recycling branch; The Greener Side, was in competition with large corporate giants such as Tesco, for the Circular Economy Initiative (Plastics) Award.
Nevertheless, ECS The Greener Side added to the company’s first victory of the night, taking home the Circular Economy Initiative Award firmly in their grasp to wrap up a successful night all round for the UK remanufacturer and recycler.
Regarding ECS The Greener Side’s recycling solution, the judges on the night said: “The Greener Side is a great example of a well-established solution, with a solid customer base that works across the supply chain. It offers an invaluable service that is keeping a significant number of items in use through refill and remanufacture, minimising leakage from the system.”
