The OEM reportedly is looking to ship 400,000 printers in Taiwan in 2020.

DIGITIMES reported that Epson Taiwan’s President Technology & Trading, James Lu has high ambitions for the company in 2020. He told the news outlet that the company is aiming to ship 400,000 printers within the Taiwan market during 2020.

According to the report, Lu said that it will be 250,000 inkjet printers and 150,000 laser printers.

The report notes that Epson’s production in the Philippines was impacted by COVID-19 which resulted in supply shortages of printers and projectors, but production levels turned back to normal in June.

Epson with its inkjet offerings has seen a growth in demand caused by the COVID-19 response with more and more workers working from home.
