These new releases consist of three models, the Epson M1100, M1120 and M2140, which have been designed specifically for the office printing market.
As GadgetBridge reports, the printers “are aimed at lowering business printing costs, which is incurred with the use of mono laser printers.”
According to the OEM, they have been designed to take into account the UN Sustainable Development Goals, offering refill ink bottles that provide “an ultra-high page yield of up to 6,000 pages per bottle”.
Epson says that “this will help businesses to get over the frequent changes of toners and consequently, help them reduce carbon footprint to a considerable amount.”
The Epson M1100 and M1120 come with 1,440×720 dpi and provide a print speed of up to 32ppm (pages per minute). The Epson M1120 also comes with Epson iPrint, Epson Email print, remote print driver and google cloud print. The maximum paper size for Epson M1100 and M1120 is 215.9x1200mm.
The Epson M2140 comes with 1,200×2,400 dpi and can scan and copy as well as print. The device has a printing speed of up to 39 ppm.
All three devices come with a warranty of up to three years.
Siva Kumar, General Manager of InkJet Printers, Epson India said, “For organisations that are concerned about their printing costs and are concerned about the environment, there is no better option than Epson’s M Series EcoTank printers. 23 times lesser printing costs and over 17 times lesser power consumed translate into significant savings over the life of a printer.”
