Nine products win in three Green MFP categories at the DataMaster Lab Print awards, the OEM said this proves its sustainability credentials.

The DataMaster Lab Print awards recognise A4 and A3 MFPs with the Green Awards given to machines that have the least overall impact on the environment. Factors such as manufacturing, distribution and design are all considered when selecting the award winners.

“Circularity is central to our design and development process, ensuring as low an impact life-cycle as possible for all our products,” said Daniel Quelch, CSR and Sustainability Manager, Epson UK. “These awards are testament to this and we’re delighted that the result of our efforts has been recognised by DataMaster Lab.”

In addition to winning nine Green accolades, Epson also had three products win in the ‘Best First Page Out Time’ category for colour A3 20-29ppm models, as well as having two products awarded as outstanding in the ‘Easiest to Use Office Copiers’ category for colour A3 products 50ppm and over.

DataMaster Lab, the European centre of print expertise, has been testing printing equipment since 2009 and has carried out over 10,000 individual tests on over 500 machines.
