Epson America announced its Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer, Andrea Zoeckler, has been named “Large Private Company CFO of the Year” by the Los Angeles Business Journal in its 2019 CFO Awards.
The 13th annual CFO Awards recognise L.A. County finance professionals for their ongoing efforts and contributions to their organisations.
Within her role as CFO and COO of Epson America, Zoeckler is responsible for business in 24 countries, conducted in 11 currencies, and supported by a team of 1,400 employees in North and Latin America. In recognition of her leadership, Zoeckler was appointed to the role of Executive Officer of the $10 billion (€8.95 billion) Seiko Epson Corporation.

Epson said that during her time as CFO with Epson America, Zoeckler managed growth of 16 percent, while concurrently improving profitability. Zoeckler played a key role on Epson’s executive management team through challenging periods of economic volatility in Latin America, and more recently in formulating strategic responses to US and Chinese import tariffs, Epson added. Zoeckler is responsible for developing robust compliance programmes across the Americas, including specific programmes to comply with FCPA, GDPR and California privacy laws. In addition, Zoeckler is leading Epson America’s strategic direction for its new $100 million (€89.5 million) corporate headquarter campus.
