Fuji Xerox Australia’s revenues slide

The OEM’s Australia division has released its Full Year results for the financial year ending on the 31st of March 2018, with bad news for the company.

According to CRN, the company’s revenue for the period was AU$690.3 million ($507.8 million/€440.9 million), a fall of 10.9 percent from the previous year’s total of AU$774.7 million ($569.9 million/€494.8 million).

Product revenue was also down, from AU$350 million ($257.5 million/€223.5 million) to AU$261.4 million ($192.3 million/€166.9 million), a 25.3 percent decrease. Services revenue offered a ray of sunshine, however, climbing 3.3 percent to AU$404.8 million ($297.8 million/€258.5 million) from FY2016-17’s total of AU$392 million ($288.4 million/€250.3 million).

Overall, Fuji Xerox Australia saw a comprehensive loss, of AU$25.6 million ($18.83 million/€16.35 million), which is an improvement on the year before, when it recorded a deficit of AU$66 million ($48.55 million/€42.16 million).

The company’s Annual Report also revealed that nine directors resigned from Fuji Xerox Australia over the course of the year, with six new ones being appointed. Overall, there was a cutback of 690 staff, with the OEM’s workforce being trimmed from 2196 to 1506 employees.
