The OEM’s Thailand division has opened the new centre with the support of a Bangkok university.

Fuji Xerox Thailand has collaborated with Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University in Thonburi, Bangkok to open a One-Stop Printing Service Centre, with the help of financial support from the university, reports The Nation.

The OEM’s Kitikorn Nongsawat explained that services offered would be affordably priced, although the establishment of such a facility was costly, “especially in terms of printing workloads for investment evaluation which Fuji Xerox had provided assistance in performing assessment to survey the required workloads and types of printing jobs in order to determine appropriate printing machines to be installed.”

Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University had set up a working team, in order to consider the details of the project and what potential benefits it would bear, in efficiency and efficacy terms.

“Once the project had been approved by the working team and the chancellor, the Printing Service Centre was established,” explained Nongsawat.

The centre handles meeting documents, digital textbooks, university journals, dissertation binding, and “all types of digital printing jobs” according to The Nation.

Fuji Xerox will hold responsibility for maintenance of the printing machines and equipment it has installed, and has assigned specialists in place to provide assistance to customers.
