FUJIFILM and Konica Minolta joint venture gets a name

FUJIFILM Business Innovation and Konica Minolta decided on the scheduled date of establishment and name of the joint venture company.

FUJIFILM Business Innovation Corp. and Konica Minolta, Inc. announced that they have decided that the scheduled date of establishment of the joint venture will be 31 January 2025, as all review and approval procedures under the competition laws overseas have been completed.

In addition, the name of the joint venture company has been decided to be Global Procurement Partners Corp.

FUJIFILM Business Innovation outlined that it will be the majority shareholder with 75% and Konica Minolta’s shareholding will be 25%. The business description was shared as:

  • Development of procurement strategies and deployment to the procurement function divisions at each production site
  • Procurement lead function, including negotiation with suppliers and procurement management
  • Procurement services to ensure quality, cost, delivery, and environmental compliance of externally purchased goods
