FUJIFILM Corporation confirms breach

The company gave an update about the unauthorised access to servers used by a group company, FUJIFILM Corporation.

The announcement said: “We have confirmation that unauthorised access to FUJIFILM Corporation, a group company, was limited to a particular network used by them in Japan.

“We at FUJIFILM Business Innovation would like to assure you that this has no impact to FUJIFILM Business Innovation, both in and outside of Japan. We use a different network and servers and our security is not compromised. Our network-connected products with Electronic Partnership Broadband (EP-BB) are not affected in any way as well. The netprint service has not been affected either.”

The company added that for some customers in Japan there were some delays in the delivery of consumables, however, all consumables ordered from 8 June will be delivered on time.
