FUJIFILM Holdings named to CDP Supplier Engagement Leader for five years in a row.

FUJIFILM Holdings Corporation announced that it has been named to the Supplier Engagement Leader 2022 by a global non-profit organisation CDP for five years in a row for their efforts to address climate change in their supply chains.

About top 8% among the companies surveyed were recognised as Supplier Engagement Leader.

FUJIFILM Holdings is actively promoting actions on climate change based on its strong belief, upheld since its foundation that environmental conservation is at the core of Fujifilm’s corporate activities. Under its CSR plan “Sustainable Value Plan 2030,” Fujifilm has set a target of reducing carbon dioxide emissions in the entire product lifecycle by 50% compared to FY2019 level by FY2030.

Fujifilm strives to reduce the carbon dioxide emissions across the entire product life cycles of “procurement” of raw materials, “manufacture,” “transportation,” “use,” and “disposal” of products. To achieve this target, FUJIFILM Holdings promotes the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions throughout its entire supply chain by sharing its approach for environment and procurement policy with its suppliers.

FUJIFILM Holdings said it will continue to actively work toward resolving climate issues through strengthening partnership with its suppliers.
