FUJIFILM Holdings to donate to earthquake affected

The company has announced it will donate ¥50 million ($382,216/ €355,564) for people affected by the earthquakes centred in the south-eastern part of Turkey.

FUJIFILM Holdings Corporation and its group companies said in their announcement that they extend their deepest condolences to the bereaved families of the major earthquakes that struck the south-eastern part of Turkey and offer their sincerest sympathies to those affected by the disaster.

FUJIFILM Holdings Corporation announced the donation of a total of ¥50 million ($382,216/ €355,564) for the people affected by this disaster.

The company will donate a total of ¥10 million ($76,437/ €71,113) to NPO Japan Platform, an international emergency humanitarian aid organisation. In addition, FUJIFILM Holdings will donate medical equipment worth ¥40 million ($305,749/ €284,461), including Fujifilm’s portable X-ray systems and ultrasound devices for medical care.

Medical equipment will be provided promptly by local subsidiaries FUJIFILM Dis Ticaret A.S. and FUJIFILM Healthcare Turkey Saglik A.S.

The company said: “FUJIFILM Holdings Corporation and its group companies extend their heartfelt wishes for the swift recovery and restoration of the affected communities.”
