FUJIFILM Manufacturing Co., Ltd., a production subsidiary of FUJIFILM Business Innovation Co., Ltd. Suzuka Office won the Excellence Award at the “Mie Tokowaka Health and Productivity Management Awards 2022”.
FUJIFILM Manufacturing Co., Ltd. Suzuka Factory was selected from 24 companies that applied out of 236 companies certified as “Mie Tokowaka Health and Productivity Management Company (White Mie)”.
FUJIFILM Manufacturing said: “We were selected for the Excellence Award as a company that actively promotes health in the workplace, where many workers spend most of their time, and practices particularly excellent health management.”
At the Suzuka Factory, the implementation rate for each item of the Fujifilm Group’s “7 Health Actions” and graphs showing the results of main health check-ups by age group are posted in the main aisles to raise the health awareness of each employee. In addition, based on the idea that “health is the foundation of life,” the company’s president distributes letters recommending that employees undergo cancer screenings, and delays the examination of those who require detailed examinations.
The medical staff and department heads meet with employees and encourage them to undergo medical examinations. The company added: “At that time, by directly communicating how important employees are to the company, we have achieved a 100% screening rate for those who need a detailed examination. Furthermore, in order to check the physical condition of employees and to create a lively workplace atmosphere, the office conducts radio exercise as a regular activity in the morning.”
