A long-standing UK reseller has been blocked by HP from buying HP products. Have you been blocked too?
A long-standing and well-established UK-based reseller reports that “with immediate effect” he has been blocked from purchasing any HP products from his supplier.
The reseller has been advised by the supplier that “HP have informed us that we must block your account as you have refused to sign up as a HP authorised partner.”
HP introduced the Authorized Partner List that went live on the 1 November 2022 and covers the European Economic Area, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Resellers wishing to purchase or sell Print Transactional Products are now required to be registered on HP’s Authorised Partners List.
The reseller is “upset and mad” and wants to know “how is this allowed?” And added “to be approved by HP you have to jump through loops to be approved.”
