At its “Partner First Roadshow” in Dubai held earlier this month, HP partners got an insight into its 2020 strategy.

According to a report by tahalwutech.com the meeting was attended by hundreds of HP partners in the Middle East region, who were looking to learn about the new channel partner-centric strategy HP has been proposing in the last few months.

The event was themed “Together We Grow”, indicating HP’s commitment to strengthen the OEM’s relationship with its channel partners.

At the event, James Blackman, Regional Lead at AMD gave a keynote speech and afterwards attendees were encouraged to join HP salespeople to have an introduction to new HP technology, including the HP Neverstop printer, and learn their benefits.

Talking about the Partner event, Fadle Saad, HP’s Regional Manager Middle East & Turkey told tahalwutech.com: “I really believe it sets the stage for the year ahead. We review the year gone by and we evaluate our strategy for the next 12 months. It is such an important event for us because we’re able to gather all our channel partners and distributors in the region under one roof to map out our future direction. Our channel partners undoubtedly provide HP with a competitive advantage. The whole structure of the new HP organisation was specifically designed in a way which helps us to get closer to our channel partners.”

The event finished with a gala dinner, where partners were honoured with awards.
