HP solution to enhance remanufacturing to be revealed at The Recycler Live conference in Brussels, 15-16 May 2024.

The highly anticipated Recycler Live conference, an essential meeting for remanufacturing industry professionals, will take place at Martin’s Hotel EU in Brussels from May 15th to May 16th. This year’s event is creating a buzz with its focus on sustainability and circularity in the ink and toner cartridge industry.

HP is slated to present its solution at The Recycler Live conference. The company’s upcoming talk will detail how to restore the ink/toner level tracking and properly message remanufactured supplies with the original HP chip.

The “HP solution to enhance remanufacturing” session will feature Steve Castle, a distinguished technologist who has worked at HP for 35 years. Steve has worked on numerous Inkjet products for the design and manufacturing of supplies. Since 2019, he has been a technical advisor to the European Voluntary Agreement negotiations and now the Imaging Equipment regulation. Steve is a technical lead for the proposed remanufacturing solution.

Daniel Chappell, a sustainability and compliance lawyer who has worked at HP since 2007 and, prior to that, in the environmental law team of an international law firm for 12 years, will co-present. Chappell has worked with HP teams on several EcoDesign implementing measures. Since 2019, he has been closely involved with the Voluntary Agreement negotiations and now the Imaging Equipment regulation, including acting as a spokesperson for EuroVAprint.

The talk is part of a larger agenda that includes discussions on industry regulations, technological advancements, and the future of remanufacturing. The conference is expected to draw a strong audience that is eager to learn from HP’s advancements.
