The OEM has formed a collaboration with retailer, Jumia, to offer N3.7 million ($10,246/€8,836) worth of educational scholarships to 15 students.

The scholarships will be offered to students between Basic 4 and University Level, who are residents and being educated in Nigeria, as the Daily Post reveals.

In order to qualify, students “are expected to shop any HP products above N10,500 ($29/€25) on Jumia App” between 13th August and 16th September 2018, with students under the age of 18 required to obtain consent from their parents or their legal guardians.

“Winners will be announced via Jumia’s Facebook live session and contacted ahead of school resumption. There will also be 1 scholarship to be won via the treasure hunt item during the campaign,” said Olamide Amosu, Head of Engagement Marketing for Jumia.

The scholarship is part of Jumia’s School Resumption campaign, which also includes an art contest for kids between the age of 4 and 15.
