Alon Bar Shany

His 25-year tenure comes to an end as HP moves to restructure the HP Indigo business. US-based HP veteran Haim Levit takes over as General Manager.

HP acquired Indigo in 2001for $630 million (€554 million) and has been planning to restructure the business for some time as the market changes. Bar-Shany has led the business since 2004 where revenues are now in the region of $1.8 billion (€1.58 billion).  Now in its sixth generation of technology the company recently launched a new portfolio of technology for commercial printing applications.

The question HP needs to consider, is there space for the HP electrophotographic marking process of HP Indigo vs the inkjet technology deployed by HP WebPress?

Haim Levit

COVID-19 has to have had a very significant impact…

Former Vice President & General Manager, at HP Indigo US-based Haim Levit was named as the new General Manager. 25-year HP veteran, Levit oversaw HP Inc.’s $1.8 billion (€1.58 billion) worldwide go-to-market industrial organisation for its Graphics Solutions Business.
