HP’s Australian business makes a profit

The OEM’s Australian business declared a profit for 2017 according to its annual report filed with the Australian Securities & Investments Commission.

CRN reported on the annually filed statement filed with the Australian Securities & Investments Commission and explained that HP in Australia showed their revenue as $1.47 billion (€1.19 billion) for the year 2017 which is up $11.2 million (€9.11 million) on the same period in the previous year which gave the company a profit of $25.6 million (€20.83 million) compared to the reported $2.75 million (€2.23 million) loss in 2016.

According to CRN, “one driver of the improved profit was foreign exchange.”
