Hubei announces restructuring of R&D resources

Hubei Dinglong Holdings Co., Ltd. announced the establishment of Hubei Dinglong Advanced Materials Research Institute.

The company’s announcement said that it has created the new entity in order to integrate the R&D resources of Hubei Dinglong Holdings Co., Ltd. and to strengthen the structure of its R&D and technological innovation organisation.

The company plans to invest ¥200 million ($31 million/ €26 million) to establish Hubei Dinglong Advanced Materials Research Institute Co., Ltd. which will be focusing on the R&D of semiconductors process materials, semiconductor display materials, and other countries’ strategic emerging industries.

The announcement explained that the new company will “Carry out cutting-edge and applied research on materials, and determine the development of materials technology through industry-leading technology research.”

The company said in its announcement that the establishment of the Advanced Materials Research Institute can effectively integrate the company’s R&D resources and accelerate the company’s technology research and development and achievement of industrial transformation. The process of chemical application is an important measure to implement the company’s development strategy for the company’s innovative material platform. It believes that it has a positive impact on the core competitiveness and achieving high-quality sustainable development.

The investment funds are owned by the company or are self-raised funds. The funds will be available in instalments depending on the progress and needs and will not have a significant impact on the company’s financial and operating conditions.
