The company has announced a new packaging for its cartridges which allows “fast chip upgrade”.
The soon-available packaging was explained in Ink Tank’s latest announcement highlighting features and benefits from this newly developed solution.
The packaging allows for fast chip upgrades by its special design developed by Ink Tank. The packaging is for replacement cartridges for HP 91X/96X series cartridges and “will be more convenient and practical for users”, according to Ink Tank.
The packaging comes with an area for a customisable brand label, and offers “less process and upgrade timing” due to the chip being accessible and the packing does not have to be damaged for chip upgrades. The cartridge in its packaging can be placed on the chip resetting machines to perform the update.
Ink Tank said: “The unique no need to unwrap design directly simplifies the chip upgrade process and makes chip updates more accurate and quick, thus not only reducing the waiting time for customers but also avoiding financial losses as well.
