Innotec marks World Recycling Day

The French company has been celebrating World Recycling Day and shedding new light on its eco-friendly business methods.

By way of honouring World Recycling Day, which was first launched in 1994 in the USA, Innotec has been taking the opportunity to remind customers of its environmentally beneficial practices.

The company states that, through its subsidiary ProXL, the company “collects more than 400,000 cartridges every year throughout the country, of which about one third are prepared for reuse after rigorous selection”. These cartridges are refurbished in Innotec’s workshops before being released back onto the market. Those cartridges which are not deemed suitable “for technical or legal reasons” are “100 percent revalued”.

Innotec goes on to explain that, in France, 10 million laser cartridges are used each year, more than 85 percent of them coming from “new manufacturing”, which consumes significant natural resources and leaves a “marked” carbon footprint.

Innotec Group reveals that it is the “only player on the market to remanufacture 100 percent in France”, thereby supporting consumers in their “eco-responsible approach” and ensuring the responsible collection, sorting and reuse or dismantling of WEEE.
