Convena Polymers, Delacamp’s plastics business unit has been certified by TUV Rheinland.

Delacamp reported that Convena Polymers for its high-performance plastics business unit has successfully been ISO9001: 2015 certified by TUV Rheinland.

The owner Jörg Ahrens founded the company in 1994 and, together with his team, developed it into Europe’s largest independent fluoropolymer trader. Delacamp purchased the company in November 2016.

At the time Volker Kappius, CEO of Delacamp told The Recycler: “The acquisition is for our business outside the laser imaging cartridge repair industry. There is some overlapping with laser imaging on parts and roller, mainly for fuser units, especially with the OEM. But this was not our main driver – to widen our product range to include high-performance polymers. The main reason was that we are moving into the reprocessing of high-performance polymers as part of our sustainability strategy.”
