Kofax completes Nuance acquisition

by | Feb 5, 2019 | 0 comments

The Intelligent Automation software supplier has announced the closing of its takeover of Nuance Document Imaging.

The deal, first reported by The Recycler in November last year, will see Kofax officially take control of NDI, a division of Nuance Communications, Inc.

NDI provides software to help organisations optimise their information-based capture and print processes, taking them from being labour-intensive, error-prone and costly, to becoming highly efficient, automated and secure.

Through this acquisition, Kofax says it is “driving customer value by adding key technologies, including capture, print management and document security on MFPs, to its end-to-end Intelligent Automation platform.”
