The OEM’s Middle Eastern division has taken part in the first ever Gulf Print & Pack Summit in the United Arab Emirates.
The Dubai summit feature organisations from across the commercial printing and packaging industry, gathered together to discuss the region’s challenges and opportunities. It also saw two panel discussions with industry experts, talking business expansion whilst remaining competitive, and how new technologies can modernise printing plants for investment.
Konica Minolta’s Nayyar Ansari, Business Development Manager of the OEM’s Middle East branch, appeared at the vent discussing Technical Innovation. Ansari explained that “in order to improve turnaround time and achieve accurate results, the professional print market is embracing automation and technical innovations that can also significantly reduce the overall costs.”
He also spoke of the technologies that Konica Minolta itself is bringing to the market, including its ‘Intelligent Quality Optimiser’. According to Thomson Reuters Zawya, this will “allow professional printers to achieve automation on the run, colour management, registration, auto printer profile making, as well as auto gamma adjustment and auto density control.” It will also “transform the industry by offering infinite benefits to professional printers.”
The event also featured an exhibition segment, where companies such as the OEM displayed their latest services and technologies to partners and visitors from across the Middle East.
