The company has released a statement on an unauthorised access to an overseas subsidiary.

Konica Minolta, Inc. released the following statement on an unauthorised access to an overseas subsidiary.

“Konica Minolta Marketing Services EMEA Limited, a Konica Minolta Group company headquartered in London, U.K., found unauthorised access from a third party to its server on 23 March 2022. In the investigation by the subsidiary no leaks of customer information or personal information was confirmed. Additional investigations by specialized institutions inside and outside the subsidiary are underway to confirm details.

“After confirming unauthorised access, the subsidiary promptly took necessary measures, including the shutdown of the relevant network of the site. The restoration of the system has been ongoing.”
