Konica Minolta employee tests positive

A Konica Minolta Group employee in Japan has tested positive for novel coronavirus.

Konica Minolta, Inc. announced that an employee in a Group company in Japan tested positive for COVID-19. The test results came in on 25 March.

Konica Minolta said it has been working with the local health agencies in its efforts to prevent infection from spreading and minimise risks for high-risk contacts, including:

  • Reviewing the employee’s whereabouts and activities and sharing it with the local health centre; and
  • Providing the local health centre with information about people who may have had high-risk contact

“Going forward, Konica Minolta will continue doing everything it can for prevention of the domestic infection spreading and assure health safety within and out of the company,” Konica Minolta added.
