Konica Minolta lands procurement contract

Konica Minolta Australia has announced it has been included on the Victorian government procurement panel for multifunction devices and printers.

Konica Minolta was part of the previous panel, which has just been renewed for a least another three years. As well as being open to all of the mandated government departments that must use the contract, the offer extends to any government agency, such as schools or healthcare facilities, for example, to leverage the contract as well.

Michael Byrne, General Manager – government, education, enterprise and corporate, Konica Minolta, said: “Konica Minolta is offering ten devices from its A3 colour range. This contract is strategically important for Konica Minolta because of the business opportunity associated with being able to provide to government departments and agencies across the state.

“With the Victorian procurement panel, the onus is on the provider to deliver a solution that is fit for purpose and that will meet the agencies’ needs. As a long-time provider on this panel, Konica Minolta can assure government agencies that it has the expertise to bring solutions that will work for them and deliver the outcomes they are looking for, with a proven history of delivering under the contract. Being selected again reinforces the success of the work Konica Minolta has already been doing as part of the panel.”

Konica Minolta explained that part of the selection process included being able to demonstrate that Konica Minolta supports gender equality and the indigenous community, and has strong environmental policies. The business also had to be able to demonstrate the security of its equipment.

Byrne said: “Konica Minolta demonstrated that it is a strong, credible organisation in all areas relevant to the government framework. Konica Minolta has the support and infrastructure across the state to deliver on the needs of government agencies and departments across the board.”
